Raaghav Dar is an alumni of the Film and television institute of India. He has won the honourable award from BAFTA at the Aspen shortsfest (2004) for Bombay Summer, a short film directed by him at FTII. Since 2004 he has worked on feature films like Guru (2006) and Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na (2007) as an associate director.
He then went on to direct his first feature film My Friend Pinto (2011) and is currently working on the script of his second feature film. Creating last long moments through sound and image excites him more than anything else in life.
He has also worked with the Theatre du Chatelet, Paris as a Collaborate director on Operas directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Vishal Bharadwaj. He has also worked extensively on television, director of short films, documentaries and commercials.
